About Afterglow
Synthwave Racing Game
Afterglow is a synthwave racing game on an endless neon highway, drawn in pseudo-3D like the arcade racers of the eighties. The car accelerates by itself, so you only steer and brake: weave through traffic, hit the boost orbs and slip past other cars for near-miss points.
The clock is your real opponent. Every checkpoint adds fifteen seconds, every crash costs speed, and a clean racing line is what gets you to the next checkpoint in time. Runs are short, so one more try is never far away.

Tips for Afterglow
- Brake a moment before a gap closes instead of swerving hard: a crash costs more time than a short brake.
- Pass cars closely on purpose: near misses earn bonus points, as long as you do not touch them.
- Every checkpoint adds 15 seconds, so a clean line from checkpoint to checkpoint beats chasing every boost orb.
